So, I finally have an interview at a dog grooming place. It's pretty close to my house. 10 minutes or a bit more tops. That's good news. I'll also be chillin with my friends friday. Friday the 13th. Scary movies, original, right? I just gotta find a movie that'll scare them shitless. It's always funny. I know it's a bit mean but I can't help it.
Other than that, there's not much new. Life is going very slow for me right now. I hope I get that job or better. Then when he finally came in, he bathe and dried another student's dog, she had to tell him to dry it again because it was still wet. Then he bathe and dried my dog, a poodle. He came to me with the dog, the topknot was wet and curly. I'm like, dude, it's still wet. Go back and dry it again. I was nasty about it but he's been doing a half-assed job ever since he started.

Otherwise, it'll come in the last minute and I won't even be prepared.
At school, this guy asked me out. I know in my heart and my head that it's not gonna work out. He's not my type and I'm not into him like that. When he kissed me (yes, he kissed me), I felt nothing. Sometimes I hate guys. I don't like hurting their feelings when it's like that.
I finally had a girl's night out on friday. Well, one was missing but she was very tired so we just said go on home.
I saw Hotel for Dogs today. That movie was cute. My friends are quite the sobers so of course they cried.

Anywho, I did five dogs on saturday. I was completely exhausted. I had to deal with a cocker spaniel whose paws were rotted. It was sad. He seemed fine walking on it but having someone touching it, that's a no-no. At least he was completely and utterly shaved down so I didn't have to do much to stress him out. He was screaming when I put him away. Apparently he didn't like being alone. I hate hearing the screams, it hurts my heart like a son of a bitch. I somewhat expected the grooming world to hurt but I didn't think it'd be this bad.
Okay, I need to get back to a happier subject. I could mention how owners who don't know anything about grooming a dog but do it anyways. One owner I'll mention, has a toy poodle name Alexander. Cute dog. Apparently the top knot was too much so she pretty much put a chainsaw through it. Okay, maybe not but it looked so deformed and bad, I couldn't fix it. She'll just have to grow it out if she wants it fix. It was all choppy and just not even at all.

Not like anybody reads this anyways. Anywho, grooming mellows the hell outta me. Unless somebody bugs me and/or rushes me. I am fast at grooming but when a dog is really matted, that makes it difficult. I just wish owners would realize that a dog being matted can be painful for them. They will rip it out if it becomes too annoying. If the owners are too damn lazy or too damn busy to brush out their dog, then get it shaved down or don't even own a dog. Actually cats should be included in there. It might not be as attractive but it will make it easier for the owner AND the dog. But then again, if you'd just brush your dog once a day or night for that matter, it might not be as time consuming as you would think it'd be. I believe I've finished venting.

I need to learn how to stay sane. I love being a dog groomer but the owner of the training place really pisses me off. Or should I say "pisses me ofahfah"? Basically I'm taking before and after pictures of dogs i've groomed to bring to interviews. I had one dog, a schnauzer, who needed a full groom. The owner wanted the beard alot shorter because water was trailing all over the place. I took a before picture and had it all ready for an after. Just needed to scissor the dog. Well lovely ol' Carolyn *owner of the place* took over and did everything. I'm just standing thinking "wtf!". Then, she had me work on a different dog. Had another student work on one dog and she was supposed to work on a poodle. I had my dog done. She asked if I could bathe the poodle and not do anything else because it bites. I'm not fragile! But I said okay because I had time. When I was done, my mom came to pick me up. Carolyn in the last minute decided she wanted me to scissor the poodle. I asked her, "what am I supposed to do about my mom?" She said, "can't she come back later?" Besides the fact that it's a 30 minute drive from my place to the school, I lied and said I had a doctor's appointment and needed to be there right away. She pissed me off to the point of no return. I can't stand her!!!!!!!!! I really don't want to go to school today but I really want to finish and get the hell out.
